Malasana <\/strong>also known as the garland pose<\/strong>, squat pose is an asana. Mala \u2013Garland, necklace, Asana \u2013 Pose; Pronounced As \u2013 maa-laa-sa-na<\/p>\n\n\n\nGarland Pose<\/strong> also called, “Wide Squat,” Malasana <\/strong>is the preparatory position for the arm balance, “Crow Pose \/ Cat Pose” (Bakasana<\/em>).
